Growing up in an extended family where almost everyone is a physician, I was drawn towards healthcare at a very early age. I got interested in dentistry in my teenage years but knew I wanted something more. Eventually, this led me to oral medicine, which a perfect bridge between medicine and dentistry. The medical side of dentistry is what I wanted since this gives me the opportunity to help patients who often struggle to find providers for their conditions. I believe good care starts with listening to your patients’ problems, giving them time and attention. Providing excellent care is a team effort, with which every member of our team contributes and plays their role. My clinical interests include autoimmune diseases, oral lesions and clearance patients. When I am not at work, I enjoy road trips, the outdoors and racquet sports.
