History

Imperial Printing has been producing quality graphic art and printing for 75 years. It was founded by Sidney and Elaine Cojac in New York City. At that time the company specialized entirely in printing for the medical and legal professions. All sales were accomplished through two mail order catalogs. Outgrowing its facility on West 42nd Street, the company relocated first to Long Island City and later to Garden City Park. In 1978, again seeking a larger and more modern facility, the company relocated to Charlotte, North Carolina. In 1979, Stuart Cojac became president of Imperial Printing and embarked upon a major expansion program. In 1994, as a result of their continued growth, Imperial Printing once again needed larger quarters and built a new state-of-the-art facility, more than double the size of their previous building. Imperial's four divisions-medical, legal, commercial and engraving/foil stamping, are located in this new facility at 750 Imperial Court in Charlotte.
