Located at Ararat, N.C., Homeplace Recreational Park Inc. is a family entertainment center, providing picnic, swimming and camping facilities. It also provides entertainment events and church service. The amenities provided include 150 campsites with picnic tables, bath houses equipped for handicapped, fishing, hiking trails and group picnic shelters. It also features various scenic attractions, including old mill pond restoration, grassy play field and waterfall. Homeplace Recreational Park Inc. has separate set of rules for the park, golf cart, picnic shelters and campsite porch. Some nearby locations include Mount Airy, Pilot Mountain and Dobson.

Wow. This is an amazing RV/campground. If you are going to visit Mt. Airy (Mayberry) you should camp here. They have a huge park. The community pays to swim during the day. Sort of a swim club....
