HistoryGoebelieve Fitness is locally owned and operated by Jeff Goebel, a former 2nd team All-America Junior College Football Player and experienced marathon runner with two marathon finishes and 7 half marathon finishes, a two time Tough Man competition winner, third place finisher in the Mr. Tennessee Body building competition, professional boxer, winner of the Marine Corps Iron man competition at NAS Memphis, and two time CrossFit Games competitor. Jeff received his Level 1 CrossFit certification in 2012 and began his journey as a personal trainer. He is a certified Dolce Diet Coach, and attended the Outlaw Barbell camp with Olympic weight lifter Jarod Fleming in order to be a better coach for young athletes. Goebel focuses on teaching core strengthening and funcional movement. Coach Goebel's reason for becoming a personal trainer comes from suffering a debilitating back injury.
