HBF was originally founded in 1979 as Hickory Business Furniture, the contract furnishings division of The Lane Company in Alta Vista, Va. HBF's portfolio has since grown to include designer conference and guest seating, executive and management seating, lounge seating, occasional tables, conference tables, case goods and desk products. HBF markets its furniture to Fortune 500 companies, sport facilities, retailers and residential customers in the United States, Canada, Mexico, England, China, Japan and the Middle East.
