History
Grata (Italian for Grateful) is a new pizzeria located inside the taproom at Upcountry Brewing! We make all of our pizza dough, sauces, dressings, and other items from scratch daily, using the highest quality ingredients available from our local vendor partners, such as Hickory Nut Gap and Mountain Food Products. Our pizza dough is made daily, using fresh sourdough starter that originated from Fisherman's Wharf, San Francisco. Our sauce is made with a combination of fresh tomatoes (local when in season) and traditional Italian San Marzano style tomatoes grown in the California Valley. Our toppings are responsibly sourced using a combination of products from some of the best manufacturers in the industry, as well as locally sourced meat and produce. All of our pizzas are cooked with an open flame in our 700 degree oven. Thank you for supporting local!
