Grace and Cole Photography

History

It all began in the 90's. 1996, give or take. I discovered a new passion when taking a high school film photography class where I was taught all of the things needed to operate my sweet Pentax K100 hand-me-down camera. (A gift to me from my best friend's mom- one that she used to use in the 70's.) Upon finishing a few film photography classes, I won a Boston Globe Golden Key award at the ripe old age of 17, and was awarded a scholarship to attend collegiate photography classes and an intensive photography conference that same summer. It sparked something in me that continues to this day: a passion for documenting real life. But then...life happened. College. Marriage. Kids. I had strayed away from photography for so long, how was I going to get back into it? Simple. I picked up my camera. And I just did it. It all came back to me. And now, we BOTH get to benefit from it. I get to pursue my passion. And YOU get gorgeous images. Win win, right?
