Due to the severe impact of Hurricane Helene on September 27th, 2024, The Five Star Inn is temporarily closed. Jonathan Creek, which runs near our property, breached its banks, causing significant flooding and extensive damage throughout the area, including our inn. The entire Maggie Valley, North Carolina community has been hit hard, with widespread devastation affecting homes, businesses, and infrastructure. We are currently evaluating the situation, and while we hope to reopen, the extent of the damage may make it impossible. The inn will remain closed indefinitely as we assess the necessary repairs. We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all our loyal patrons who have supported us over the years. Your continued support means the world to us, and we will keep you updated on any further developments as we navigate this difficult time.

Homey inn with 100 cleanliness rating. Diane running the office was a delight. They have creekside rooms available. Each room has two rocking chairs out front to enjoy the valley.
