Founded in 1980, Greensboro Grasshoppers is a minor league baseball team in North Carolina. It is a Class A team in the South Atlantic League and is a farm team of the Florida Marlins since 2003. The team provides its corporate partners with opportunities to build relationships with fans and customers. Greensboro Grasshoppers organizes various group outings, picnics and parties. It is a member of the South Atlantic League operated by Greensboro Baseball. The team play home games at NewBridge Bank Park, which was opened in 2005 and accommodates more than 7,000 guests. Greensboro Grasshoppers merchandises hats, apparel and jerseys for men and women.
