Jerome Montoya joined First Command Financial Services as a Financial Advisor in January 2025, following a 23-year career in the United States U.S. Army, where he attained the rank of MSG. Jerome understands the challenges and opportunities associated with life in the military and is committed to helping service members and their families get their financial lives squared away. A graduate of American Military University with a Master’s degree in Public Health, Jerome holds Series 6, 7, 63, 66 securities licenses plus life and health insurance licenses in NC. Understanding that the biggest obstacle to financial security for most people is their own behavior, Jerome serves as a personal financial coach to clients, continually reinforcing positive financial behaviors. His thorough knowledge of military pay and benefits enables him to advise clients on how to navigate the Blended Retirement System, properly allocate their contributions to the Thrift Savings Plan (TSP) and take full advantage of other benefits. In his free time, Jerome enjoys football, spending time with family, and working on cars. Active in his community, Jerome is a member of the Sandhills Volleyball Club. Gregory has a Master’s degree in Finance from Webster University and a Bachelor’s degree in Science from the United States Military Academy at West Point. He holds Series 7, Series 66 securities licenses plus life and health insurance licenses in NC, SC, FL, VA, TX, AZ, and IN. Understanding that the biggest obstacle to financial security for most people is their own behavior, Gregory serves as a personal financial coach to clients, continually reinforcing positive financial behaviors.
