Firestorm Books & Coffee

Firestorm is a collectively-owned radical bookstore and community event space in Asheville, North Carolina. Since 2008 our co-op has supported grassroots movements in Southern Appalachia while developing a workplace on the basis of cooperation, empowerment and equity. In our store, you'll find a unique blend of off-beat, underground and independently published materials. Additionally, we host a wide range of free events, workshops, film screenings, fundraisers and presentations. Although we no longer operate a full-service cafe, we offer fair trade, organic coffee, teas, and local vegan pastries.
