HistoryWe are a non-profit organization that help youth ages 7-18 overcome stressors in their lives , such as poverty, discrimination, abusive situations, addictions, unstable homes and academic life. The founders of the organization started the crusade two years before finding the We Love S.P.O.R.T.S Organization by doing small community fundraisers or using their individual resources.SpecialtiesFor the past four years we have been actively serving and helping youth. We received our Non-Profit status February 25, 2013. We service youth ages 7-18 that are overcoming stressors in their lives, such as poverty, discrimination, abusive situations, addictions, unstable homes, homelessness and academic life. The program's mobile unit and street outreach team provides, food, water, clothing, shelter, blankets, hygiene products, counseling, survival aid, and basic first aid items. Since then, I've been helping Women be their most beautiful selves. The Community Empowerment Fund (CEF) is a non-profit organization serving Durham and Orange Counties in North Carolina, dedicated to cultivating opportunities and assets that support individuals in transitioning out of homelessness and poverty. Established in 2009, CEF offers person-centered support, financial education, and asset-building tools to help individuals experiencing housing insecurity. CEF's mission focuses on reducing the racial wealth gap through a combination of one-on-one support from trained Advocates, financial services, and community collaboration. By empowering Members to secure housing, gain employment, and build savings, CEF works towards sustainable transitions out of poverty while addressing systemic causes of homelessness and poverty.Generated from the website
