It all began in 1990, when Marshall O. Lowery, founder and CEO of Rapid Tax, was looking for a symbol to represent his company. He came across a picture of a duck. He reasoned that when ducks cross a pond, they look calm and peaceful, even though they are paddling like crazy under the surface. At the time, Marshall was also behind the scenes "paddling like crazy" to make it all work. With this insight, the Rapid Tax skating duck icon was born. Today, our duck not only serves as a conversation piece, but as a reminder that we're proud to take customers under our wing and answer their questions honestly and accurately. And, he represents the hard work that makes tax preparation "smooth skating" for customers every day. What's our mission? To provide customers with outstanding service and a knowledgeable staff that offers friendly, accurate and fast tax preparation service. From January through April 15, we staff each of our offices seven days a week, Monday-Saturday from 9: 00 a.m. - 9: 00 p.m. and 1: 00 p.m. - 5: 00 p.m. on Sunday. After April 15, we are open Monday through Friday from 9: 00 a.m. - 5: 30 p.m.
