Elizabeth City Public Works

The Public Works Department is a part of the government of the City of Elizabeth City in North Carolina. The department offers a range of street and sewer system maintenance services. It provides water supply, garbage collection and recycling solutions. The Public Works Department is also responsible for maintaining fleet of vehicles. It operates a sanitation division that picks up refrigerators, dishwashers, washers, dryers and other household appliances, as well as offers yard waste collection services. The department has a water treatment facility. The City of Elizabeth City in North Carolina also maintains finance, fire, planning, police, and parks and recreation departments.
