Alro Steel Corporation was founded in Jackson, Mich., in 1948. The company has grown to more than 40 locations that span 12 states, including a metals branch in Charlotte, N.C. Alro is a supplier of industrial materials and is comprised of three divisions steels and metals, industrial supply and plastics. The steels and metals division provides stainless, carbon, alloy and tool steels, aluminum, copper, brass, bronze and cast iron. Alro s industrial supply division offers a variety of cutting tools, die supplies and abrasives from manufacturers such as Craftsman, North American Tool, Campbell and Master Chemical. The company s plastics division features a variety of engineered plastics, as well as services, such as same-day cutting and shipping, and complete fabrication to print services.
