HistoryAfter working together for more than two decades, two seasoned former Wachovia Mortgage executives have joined forces to launch Envision Mortgage Corporation. Robert (Bob) Weber and Melanie Orlando set their sights on the start-up after Wells Fargo's recent acquisition of Wachovia Bank. Weber and Orlando combine the sophistication and expertise acquired as senior leaders within one of the nation's largest mortgage lenders with an intimate knowledge of the local markets. Both are College of Business graduates of East Carolina University and have resided in various cities throughout North Carolina virtually their entire lives.
