I am an Associate Professor and Director of the Division of Maternal Fetal Medicine in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I serve as the Associate Editor for Equity at Obstetrics & Gynecology (the Green Journal). My research focuses on group prenatal care, as a tool to promote health equity, and is funded by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, National Institutes of Health, and the American Diabetes Association.

I am passionate about working with patients and families during even the most complicated of pregnancies in a way that makes them feel safe and cared for. I am also a researcher interested in work at the intersection of obstetrics and public health.
