Datamax Corporation

DataMax Corporation was organized in 1889 and incorporated in 1909 as the Winston-Salem Retail Merchants Association. The acquisition of 10 credit bureaus, including collection divisions and an independent collection agency, enabled the company to grow its accounts receivable management division and become a leader in the collection industry. In 1992, the name was changed to DataMax to more accurately reflect the business of the company. Interstate Credit Collections, the company s collection subsidiary, has collected bad debts for virtually every type of business and profession since its establishment in 1906. The company has secured more than $1.2 million in refunds and reduced client costs by nearly $7 million per year. DataMax Corporation is headquartered in Winston-Salem, N.C.
