Southward & Associates in 1976 with four appraisers and two support staff employees. In 1987 the company was purchased by partners Matthew D. Sinnen and Darrell C. Green under the name Sinnen-Green & Associates. From 1992 to 2008 Sinnen-Green & Associates opened offices from Charleston, South Carolina all the way up to Northern Virginia with the same goal of providing the highest quality appraisals up and down the East Coast. In 2014, Sinnen-Green & Associates started their own commercial appraisal division under new partner and MAI, James Burok. Today, Sinnen-Green & Associates now has 10 offices (Virginia & North Carolina) and serves numerous clients such as mortgage lenders, bankers, realtors, attorneys and homeowners. We also love to give back to the community and sit on several boards for state and local appraisers, lenders and realtors' associations.
