History

The original Cool Stuff was located in Youngsville NC, having opened in 1996. When approached by buyers who wished to purchase the 100 year old building for use as a restaurant, Bobbi sold in 2001 and moved to Oak Island, starting her real estate career. Ah, but you just can't take the life long junking passion out of the gal.. In June of 2012, we opened Cool Stuff on Oak Island at a leased building. After a successful year and half, we decided to purchase our own building in October of 2013, adding an additional 500 square feet of floor space!! Grand Opening target date is March of 2014.. Our inventory changes daily as consignment items are always coming in. We trade, barter, do layaways and are always on the hunt through our travels down South and into the New Orleans areas..
