Community Link

Established in 1929, Community Link is a nonprofit organization that provides a variety of housing services for homeless individuals and families. It offers various job training, educational, money management, substance abuse treatment, mental health and life skills assistance services. The organization administers a housing support program that includes tenant education, transportation, and housing resource development and placement services. Community Link also conducts various seminars, and budget planning and pre-homeownership classes through its homeownership education and counseling program. It partners with several agencies, including the United Way of Central Carolinas, Charlotte Housing Authority, and Department of Housing and Urban Development. Community Link is affiliated with Travelers Aid International, which is an association that represents a network of agencies that provide support services crisis affected individuals and families throughout the United States, Canada and Australia. Community Link is located in Charlotte, N.C.
