History

Coastal Direct Health & Wellness is a new Family Medicine Primary Care Clinic in Leland, NC. Kristin (a family nurse practitioner) and Jennifer (a family medicine physician) are sisters trained in Family Medicine. After years of practicing separately in the hospital and primary care settings respectively, Jennifer and Kristin realized a shared vision for a practice of their own that would foster a slower paced, nurturing environment for patients. They desire to focus on preventative, comprehensive health helping people achieve their health goals by increasing access to their provider and decreasing the dictating involvement of insurance. They are interested in authentic relationships with their patients and addressing the many factors that contribute to overall health and wellness.

Specialties

We believe that healthcare should be affordable, accessible and of high quality. Unfortunately, this seems more and more difficult to find. We are part of a movement trying to change that through the Direct Primary Care model. We are a primary care office that charges an affordable monthly membership fee to cover a comprehensive list of primary care services with no additional copays.
