I have a strong belief in the biopsychosocial model in approaching health care and place emphasis of the interconnectedness of biological, psychological and social factors in health. I am passionate about a holistic approach to health care and empowering individuals through education and support. I love to be involved in community outreach and health care advocacy initiatives with an aim to bridge the gaps in healthcare access and promote wellness. I am committed to compassionate and patient-centered health care. Outside of work, I enjoy reading, trying new restaurants and doing new activities including exploring nature trails.

I chose to become a Nurse Practitioner because I enjoy caring for others. Being a Nurse Practitioner allows me to use my nursing background with my practitioner training to provide care to the adult and aging population. My approach to care is based on a holistic approach. I encourage my patients to have an active role in their healthcare. My areas of clinical interest include health promotion and preventive medicine. Outside of work, the beach is my happy place. I enjoy reading a good book as often as I can, and time with my family and close friends is priceless.

I chose to become a nurse practitioner to directly assist in improving patient outcomes in the office setting, as well as to help combat the shortage of primary care providers in my community. I enjoy primary care and being the first line of defense in managing and preventing chronic diseases. My nursing background includes emergency medicine and cardiology, both of which I enjoyed immensely. My philosophy is to provide individualized care to the patients I serve by acknowledging their unique situations, as well as educating patients and their families and providing compassionate, evidence-based care. In my downtime, I enjoy reading, going to the beach as much as possible, travelling and spending time with my beautiful family.
