I chose to become a registered nurse because I have always felt a calling to work in a capacity to serve and help others. My father is a Physician Assistant and my mother was a special education teacher for 30 years. I have watched them dedicate their lives to serving others and am following in their footsteps. My philosophy is to treat every patient how I would want to be treated and provide them with the best care possible. I want to leave our know that someone is actively listening and hearing their concerns. Im currently pursuing my advanced degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner and plan to specialize in family medicine. When Im not in the office, I can be found outside hunting or tinkering around in my woodshop.

North Carolina Neuropsychiatry began at the University of North Carolina in 1978 as the Neuropsychiatry Research Project. For 11 years at UNC, the clinic was funded by the National Institutes of Health. In 1988, NC Neuropsychiatry, PA became the first private clinic in North Carolina devoted exclusively to medical psychiatry and rehabilitation.Since then, we have provided consultations and treatment in general psychiatry, neuropsychiatry, and psychopharmacology. As the clinic has grown and developed, we have drawn patients from across the state as well as across the country.There are currently four neuropsychiatry clinics: Chapel Hill (1988), Raleigh (2008), Apex (2020).
