Charlotte Country Day School

Established in 1969, Cannon School is a college preparatory, independent school serving more than 900 students from prekindergarten through grade 12. Its campus facilities include more than 50 classrooms, two media centers, a multipurpose auditorium and technology center. Cannon School comprises lower, middle and upper school division. The school arts classes include visual foundations, drawing, painting and sculpture. It offers classes in chorus, orchestra, band, visual arts, drama and theater. Cannon School provides private lessons in piano, voice, woodwinds, brass, guitar, percussion, strings and dance. Additionally, the school has a counseling resource center that provides parents and students access to computers, updated search materials, financial aid and scholarship information, summer internship programs and college literature. Cannon School s sports activities include soccer, tennis, baseball, basketball, swimming, cross country, lacrosse, golf, cheerleading and volleyball. The school is located in Concord, N.C.
