Charlotte Country Day School

Charlotte Country Day School is an independent, coeducational, college preparatory school that was founded in 1941. Located on two campuses in south Charlotte, N.C., it enrolls more than 1,600 students in prekindergarten through grades 12. The school offers various academic courses, International Baccalaureate, and international study and summer programs. Its academic courses include various subjects, such as social studies, language arts, fine arts, science, mathematics and foreign languages. Its arts program offers courses in visual arts, dance, drama, and choral and instrumental music. The school offers a wide variety of athletic activities, including baseball, basketball, cross country, field hockey, golf, lacrosse, soccer, softball, swimming, tennis, track and field, volleyball, cheerleading, football and wrestling. Additionally, it provides a variety of facilities, including a cafeteria and classrooms, computer laboratories and libraries with Internet access. The school system is located in Charlotte.
