Melanie has been in the banking industry for over 20 years, beginning her career as a Branch Manager. As a Private Banking Officer, Melanie is responsible for bringing in and managing commercial deposits and treasury management needs. Melanie earned her BS in Management and Marketing at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She currently serves on the Advisory Council for St. Jude and also enjoys volunteering through her church and the Humane Society of Charlotte. In 2014, Melanie was selected as a winner of Charlotte’s 40 Under 40. Melanie grew up in Charlotte and now resides in Matthews, NC. She enjoys running, snow skiing, and traveling in her spare time. Jim joined TowneBank in 2020 and has more than 15 years of experience in the financial services industry. With 13 of those years in Treasury Services, Jim works closely with his clients in the Charlotte, NC area to help them achieve their financial goals by delivering insight and sharing industry-wide best practices. Salley is responsible for calling on high net worth individuals and providing high quality service. Salley takes great care with regards to her members’ checking accounts, investments, cash management, estates, retirement, consumer & commercial lending. While ensuring financial goals and objectives of the members are being met in their fiduciary relationships, Salley also assists with the marketing strategies for Private Banking regarding new business development and ensuring the bank’s strategic intent. Salley brings with her 17 years of banking experience. She served Wells Fargo Bank for six years and spent eight years as a private banking officer at Centura Bank. She also managed a premier household portfolio providing a broad base of services, including deposit-based, credit, investment and fee-based products building long term relationships with new and existing clients, focusing on providing excellent customer service and expertise. Salley received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Randolph-Macon Woman’s College in Lynchburg, Virginia, and currently resides in Charlotte, North Carolina.
