Carver Park, also known as John Stokes Garden, is a charming 0.09-acre park located in the College Park neighborhood of East Raleigh, NC. Originally an overgrown lot, the park was transformed into a beautiful garden through the dedication and hard work of beloved community member John Stokes and local residents.
Renovated in 2022 as part of the Fisher Street Park relocation project, Pender Street Park now features a walkway, seatwalls, a picnic area, and public art honoring Mr. Stokes' commitment to the community.
