We partner with pet rescue organizations to provide low-cost, high-quality, non-profit veterinary care, enabling more homeless cats and dogs to find their forever home. As the only non-profit 501(c)(3) vet clinic on the East Coast dedicated solely to cat and dog rescue groups, we focus on delivering essential outpatient services.*We do not treat wild animals or cats or dogs that do not have an appointment made by one of our rescue partners.

Founded in 1989, the Governor's Institute on Alcohol & Substance Abuse is a private, nonprofit organization that develops and maintains partnerships between various organizations in the United States. The institute supports linkages among researchers, educational programs, professional organizations, clinics and hospitals, treatment and tertiary care facilities, consumer groups and the substance abuse field by participating in coalitions and state planning efforts. As a neutral coordinator of resources, the Governor's Institute on Alcohol & Substance Abuse serves as a clearinghouse to bring more research findings into clinics and other treatment settings and extra information about treatment effectiveness into the classroom.
