Oil on Canvas "View of Asheville, North Carolina, 1850" by Robert Scott Duncanson was sold on behalf of a descendant of the original owner, May 31, 2003 for $320, 000, a record price for any work by the artist. The painting now hangs in the Greenville, South Carolina Museum of Art Brunk Auctions has grown since 1983 from a small regional auction house to a national auction service with an international clientele.
