History

LaoMa started his studies in America and continued under Ding Hongkui on Snake Hill in China in 1985. He taught with Magic Tortoise Taijiquan school in Chapel Hill for many years before creating this sister school, the Black Bamboo Pavilion Taijiquan school.

Specialties

We teach specific to the level of a student regardless of the class they're in. We find it helpful and important for students of various abilities and levels to work with each other, see progress, and learn about the continuous process of learning Tai Chi! It's a journey we're all never finished with!!
