I went vegetarian at a young age and that sparked my passion for nutrition and health. I've always wanted to work in the healthcare field, since I enjoy helping people and find it rewarding to make a difference in someone else's life. \n I completed my undergraduate degree in nutrition at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG) and subsequently completed my Master of Science in nutrition and dietetic internship at Appalachian State University. My academic journey was complemented by a deep engagement in community service, notably volunteering at my local food pantry and contributing to the UNCG Food Recovery Network.
