Arsenal Park in Fayetteville, NC, is a historic site that showcases the remnants of the Fayetteville Arsenal, constructed between 1838 and 1856. Originally commissioned to enhance U.S. defenses after the War of 1812, the Arsenal played a significant role during the Civil War before its destruction by Union troops in 1865.
The park features interpretive signage, a steel structure known as the "ghost tower," and two Civil War Trail markers.
