The Alliance for Cape Fear Trees (ACFT) is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving, protecting, and planting trees in the Greater Wilmington and lower Cape Fear region of North Carolina. Founded in 2015 by members of the Wilmington Tree Commission, ACFT focuses on education, advocacy, preservation, and new tree plantings to enhance the quality of life and health for present and future generations.

Run by volunteers, ACFT has a core group of around twenty tree experts who provide advisory services and expertise in nurturing, protecting, and regulating the urban forest. Through their efforts, ACFT works towards its mission of preserving, protecting, and planting trees to benefit the community and urban forestry in the Lower Cape Fear area.
