History
The original practice was started in May of 1989 and Drs. Roger and Lisa Davis joined the office in July, 1989. They built their practice by delivering comprehensive eye care and treating their patients just like family by explaining eye conditions and treatment options in plain English. Over the last 25 years, the practice has added 3 locations (2 in Greensboro and 1 in Wilmington) with Jefferson Village Eye Care being the most recent addition. We take walk-in patients for convenience and for eye emergencies. The Davis' have made a commitment to cutting edge technology. Each year funding is invested in new instruments: Optomap retinal imaging gives a 200 degree view of the retina, Optical Coherence Tomography shows the ten layers of the retina in microscopic cross section, Corneal Topography maps the front surface of the eye and interfaces with CAD/CAM software for designing custom contact lenses to help those with difficult to fit eyes.
