HistoryOne day, group of child care professionals got together and discussed how science in the classroom brings out excitement, creativity, and limitless opportunities to learn. They each had a passion for science and saw the potential in the vast amount of learning it can bring. Children learn by seeing, feeling, and doing. They discussed how amazing a hands-on, science based program would help children learn. They even discussed the amazing effects it would have on children with sensory disabilities. These professionals decided to design a program that would take science in child care facilities to the next level....and that is when LEAP (Learn, Engage, and Play) was born.SpecialtiesLEAP offers fun, interactive, science classes for children, ages 1-12. The classes are hosted in the comfort of your child's care facility once a week, and taught by caring and experienced instructors. LEAP meets national and state curriculum standards and is very hands-on and reinforces science concepts. Your child will have a blast while learning; From making their own fossils, to touching real ocean life. They will discover the best science has to offer. LEAP services child care facilities, after-school and summer camp programs, and schools in the Carolina's.
