I took the clock I got from my grandfather's house to him and even though he doesn't work on electric clocks he was willing to take a look. he was about to close but let me leave it there for him...

Very rude --- never made eye contact or greeted me. wouldn't look up from his clock part catalog the whole time I talked to him.
