Yorktown High School

Yorktown High School is part of Yorktown Central School Districts. The business department of the school provides classes in small business ownership, business law, microeconomics, accounting, and sports and entertainment marketing. The school offers honors courses in music theory, chorus, chamber choir, concert band, wind ensemble and theater arts. Additionally, the school offers advanced placement classes in various subjects, including English, mathematics, earth science and biology, global history, geography, social studies and language. Yorktown High School has has a media center and library offering various books, science journals, fictions and research databases for students and teachers. The sport programs offered by the school include soccer, tennis, baseball, basketball, swimming, cross country and lacrosse. Yorktown High School is accredited by the New York State Board of Regents and the Middle State Association of College and Secondary Schools.
