Yonkers Islamic Center, established in 1995 and incorporated the following year, is the first-ever Islamic religious institution in the history of Yonkers, NY. Serving the Muslim community of Yonkers and its neighboring cities, the center started with a small group of dedicated individuals and has since grown to become a prominent hub for Islamic education and services.

With Imam Adamu Sulleiman leading the community, Yonkers Islamic Center provides a range of educational programs, religious services, and a well-stocked Islamic library. As a tax-exempt organization, the center relies on donations to continue its growth and support the needs of the Muslim community in Yonkers and Westchester County.
