Founded in 1836, The Harlem Dowling-West Side Center for Children and Family Services is a nonprofit, multiservice agency that provides foster care, adoption, therapeutic placement and supportive housing solutions. The center serves and assists more than 2,500 children and families in crisis and distress situations. It offers an extended day program that includes tutorial services and activities, such as craft making, creative arts, and dance and computer classes.
