As German dog enthusiasts/trainers for the past 27 years, our family made a commitment to contribute in a positive way to the K-9 community. We bred two of our German Shepherds and donated the majority of the puppies to first responders in the CNY area. This was followed by pursuing our passion for dogs further and establishing our dog training business, Winschelhaus Dog Training, LLC located in Manlius, New York.

There are undoubtedly dog breeds that benefit from Winshelhaus' severe system of training, but the more sensitive and intelligent breeds - such as Australian Shepherds - are not among them. The...
