Weijie Violet Lin, M.D.

Dr. Lelli is Vice Chair of Ophthalmology, a board-certified ophthalmologist who specializes in oculoplastic surgery - a specialty requiring two years of additional training after ophthalmology residency focused solely on plastic and reconstructive surgery of eyelids, orbit and lacrimal system. During this training, accredited by the prestigious American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ASOPRS), Dr. Lelli gained broad clinical and surgical experience while treating patients at Columbia University Medical Center, Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital, New York University Hospital, Bellevue Medical Center and New York Eye and Ear Infirmary.Dr. Lelli graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. He proceeded to the Mount Sinai School of Medicine, where he was selected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society and graduated with the highest academic standing in his class. After completing a transitional internship at Saint Vincent's Catholic Medical Center in Manhattan, he returned to Ann Arbor for his ophthalmology residency at the University of Michigan Medical Center, W.K. Kellogg Eye Center. During his final year, he served as Chief Resident and received the Ambulatory Care Excellence in Service Award for demonstration of integrity, professionalism and exceptional patient care.Dr. Lelli is a dedicated educator. While at the University of Michigan, he was twice awarded the Walker R. Parker Resident Teaching Award. He has written numerous papers and textbook chapters and routinely presents at national meetings. Dr. Lelli is an active participant in global mission work and education. Most recently, he has volunteered in East Africa, teaching and performing surgeries, and annually travels to Eastern Europe for an educational mission sponsored by the Open Medical Institute and the American Austrian Foundation. Dr. Lelli has also recently diversified his work experience by joining the staff of the New York Rangers as the team's Ophthalmologist. Dr. Lelli is an approachable and caring physician and teacher. Dr. Jaspal Ricky Singh is the Vice-Chair of Strategy and Clinical Operations & Associate Professor within the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine. He also serves as the Medical Director of Outpatient Faculty Practice and Director of Interventional Spine in the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine and Co-Director of Och Spine at NewYork-Presbyterian at the Weill Cornell Medicine Center for Comprehensive Spine Care.Dr. Singh is a triple-board certified physician specializing in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Sports Medicine and Pain Medicine. He earned his undergraduate degree at George Washington University majoring in biology and religious studies. He then attended the George Washington University School and Medicine and completed his residency at the University of Pennsylvania. Additionally, Dr. Singh went on to fulfill a fellowship in Interventional Pain and Sports Medicine at the University of Colorado – Denver. Dr. Singh specializes in a multidisciplinary approach to treat pain by integrating physical therapy and interventional techniques in his care. Through the use of minimally invasive, fluoroscopic-guided spine procedures, peripheral nerve blocks, electrodiagnostic and musculoskeletal ultrasound, Dr. Singh individualizes his treatment plan with a focus on functional restoration.He employs a comprehensive approach to the treatment of spinal disorders by providing pain management in an honest, kind, and compassionate manner.Dr. Singh's office is located at the Weill Cornell Medical College Center of NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. Recruited to Cornell in 1999, Dr. Segal was responsible for the founding and development of the New York Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Stroke program and supervised NYPs designation as a New York State Primary Stroke Center. This program includes aggressive management of acute stroke, using both intravenous rtPA and intra-arterial therapies such as thrombolysis, and mechanical clot extraction. Dr. Segal's research interests include the relationship between Stroke and Cancer, through which he has collaborated extensively with the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Dr. Segal has been the co-course director of the NYP Brain Attack Course which attracts 400 attendees yearly. Inpatient and outpatient clinical consultations address a wide range of issues relating to cerebrovascular disease. Dr. Segal also accepts referrals for general outpatient neurology.In 2010, Dr. Segal expanded his practice into Sleep Disorders and is currently active in the newly expanded and renovated Weill Cornell Sleep Disorders Center. Dr. Segal's sleep practice includes the full spectrum of Sleep Disorders, including but not limited to Sleep Apnea and Sleep Disordered Breathing, Insomnia/Hypersomnia, Narcolepsy, and Restless Legs Syndrome. Dr. Segal offers collaborations with psychologists and pulmonologists in the Sleep Disorders Center to offer a full multi-disciplinary approach to patient care.Dr. Segal received his bachelor's degree from Harvard College and MD degree from Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons. He received postgraduate training at the Massachusetts General Hospital where he completed residencies in Internal Medicine and Neurology, followed by fellowship in Stroke and Neurocritical Care. He is Associate Professor of Clinical Neurology and Director of the Neurology Residency Training Program and Vascular Neurology Fellowship. Dr. Segal has published widely in the fields of Stroke, Sleep Medicine and General Neurology.
