WATERLOO CENTRAL SCHOOL

Waterloo High School is a learning center that serves students in grades 9 through 12. It is a part of the Waterloo Central School District. Located in Waterloo, N.Y., the school offers courses in Spanish, business education and earth science. It conducts special education classes for students with special needs. The school also provides the Drug Abuse Resistance Education (D.A.R.E.) program. Waterloo High School offers memberships in the National Honor Society and Future Teachers of America organizations. The school operates a student council, band, and drama, interact and yearbook clubs. It also supports a range of sports activities that includes cross country, soccer, football, softball, volleyball, tennis, golf, cheerleading, and track and field. The school publishes a newsletter, The Paper Indian, which carries information on social and academic programs and activities. In addition, Waterloo High School offers meals and scholarships.
