Even though it's far from the "hip" parts of Manhattan, I like this area a lot. If you're looking for more of a local feeling neighborhood, WH is the place. There aren't as many overpriced cafes...

Absolutely love living in the Heights so close to the city but has an amazing homey-family atmosphere would not trade it for the world.
