Warren County Sheriffs Office

Located in Lake George, N.Y., Warren County Sheriffs Office is responsible for maintaining law and order in the county. The office comprises three divisions, including administrative services, law enforcement and correction division. The law enforcement division offers patrol units, including all-terrain vehicles, marine, school officer unit, snowmobile and traffic safety units. Additionally, it also offers investigative services that include investigating all major crimes and significant public safety incidents, and conducting background checks on applicants for pistol permits. Additionally, Warren County Sheriffs Office operates a correctional facility that has a capacity of more than 180 inmates and employs over 75 correctional staff members. The administrative department of the sheriffs office maintains records of crime reports, looks after the maintenance of the correctional facility and executes civil orders and mandates.
