About us Villabate has and always will be a family owned and run business. It is named after the Sicilian town of Villabate which is home to this talented family that has operated this pasticceria since 1980. For generations the Alaimo family has been creating the finest in Sicilian pastries, cakes, cookies and breads. It all started in the small town of Villabate in the northern region of the island of Sicily. After years of working in the country they call home, Father and Son followed their dreams of bringing the best in Italian baking to the people. That dream brought them to Brooklyn, NY where their pride and dedication shone through in the quality of baked goods that came out of Villabate Bakery. To this day they remain true to their Italian roots and traditional recipes by only using the best quality ingredients and offering only the freshest products to their loyal consumers. After almost 30 years of producing some of NY's finest in Italian baked goods, Villabate merged with the famous Alba Pastry Shop. In the spirit of reputation and honor, it was Mr. Alba's dying wish that they continue to deliver the same quality and freshness their customers have come to depend on. Today, Villabate-Alba continues to be family run and continues to bring a piece of Sicily to Brooklyn. Once you step foot into Villbate-Alba you can't help but be overwhelmed by the incredible artwork that are our pasties and the incredible authenticity of everything you find our store. All of our goods are made all natural, with imported ingredients and made fresh daily. We offer one of the widest selections of Italian specialties year-round and for the holidays. We do nothing more but aim to please our customers with high quality ingredients and pastries and cakes made to be not only pleasing to the taste buds but incredible to the eye.

My go-to at Italian bakeries is always the rainbow cookies, so that's what I use to judge how solid of a bakery they are. Villabate is a Brooklyn institution, so of course, everything they sell is...

Honestly, I'm not sure where the bad reviews are coming from. But my experience at Villabate Alba was mostly positive--aside from one very rude customer. I came here for the first time after a...
