The Tea Room opened after Victoria experienced a fire which took everything but her Tea Pots and the death of her 22 year old son killed by gun violence. She opened it as a means of income, a way to interact with other people and to cope. It was a quaint little space in the heart of Brooklyn, Bed Stuy.
