Victoria Plating Company

A German immigrant, Charles Antmann, established Victoria Plating Company in 1947. After World War II, Antmann was able to break free of his partners and turn Victoria Baby Carriage into a high-volume finishing facility that is equipped with automated finishing equipment. Victoria Plating provides finishing to automotive companies, as well as Mack Trucks, a division of Volvo International. Its personally engineered automatic, semi-automatic and hand-polishing department provides prefinishing on everything from screws to brackets and from escutcheons to tubing. Its top coating facility provides air dry and baked epoxy clear coat finishes. The company also has sister corporations that provide manufacturing of steel, brass, stainless steel and zinc die cast parts, as well as mass finishing, burnishing and tumbling. Victoria Plating Company is headquartered in Bronx, N.Y.
