Vera's Marketplace and Garden Center is a family-owned business that has been serving the Cold Spring community since 1982. Founded by Vera and Tony Giordano, who immigrated from Italy, the market started as a small farm market and has since expanded to include five greenhouses filled with beautiful flowers. Today, Vera's is known for its local and organic products, as well as its warm and welcoming atmosphere where everyone is treated like family.
After Tony's passing in 2007, Dominic and Joanne Giordano took over the business and introduced their famous apple cider donuts. With a commitment to modernization and growth, they renamed the market Vera's Marketplace and Garden Center, which has become a beloved local spot. In addition to offering a wide variety of fruits, vegetables, and groceries, Vera's also rents part of its facility to a local coffee shop and butcher shop, further enhancing the community's experience.
