Van Aukens Inne, built in 1891, was moved 75 feet away from the racks in 1906. The Victorian Structure, with its pillared porch, was completely renovated in 1988 to its original splendor which reflects an atmosphere reminiscent of a boygone era. Van Aukens Inne is a bar, restaurant, and hotel. The main level is a dining area and bar; we have a large dining room in the back perfect for large parties and gatherings, a smaller dining room for simpler dining, and a newly renovated porch that offers outside dining. In the basement is our brand new Wakely's Speakeasy, open Thursday, Friday, and Saturdays starting at 6pm. On the second floor (upstairs) we have 12 rooms that all have their own private bath, Wi-Fi, TV, and air conditioner. There is an additional porch/balcony located on the second floor that all guests have access to.
